Regional Checklists in downloadable format

MYCOTAXON has offered approved distributional fungal checklists or links on the Internet since 2004. Our webpage both hosts many annotated mycobiotas here on www.mycotaxon.com and links to several others hosted on institutional or personal websites. Users may view all such mycobiotas online or can download files directly to their own computers for storing or printing.

Online files (a) offer easy searches of an entire dataset using any term or terms and make it (b) easy for authors to update their checklists on a regular basis as new data become available. The approved mycobiotas (or ‘weblists’) are cited below. Checklists are subdivided by geographic areas, including ‘General’ when more than one area is treated. Within each they are arranged by country. Each weblist can be downloaded by clicking on the highlighted date (if two dates appear, the first date is that of the original posting, while the highlighted second date is that of the most recent revision.) Each database is described in some detail in a summary announcement paper in MYCOTAXON, and by clicking on the words link to abstract you will be linked to the title, publication data, abstract, and keywords for that announcement.

All weblists are available for no charge, courtesy of authors who pay a one-time fee of $40 to cover the cost of posting each new or replacement file.
