Li, Zhenying & Lin Guo. A new species of Exobasidium (Exobasidiales) on Rhododendron from China. Mycotaxon 96: 323 - 326. 2006. ABSTRACT: A new species, Exobasidium racemosum causing shoot and leaves deformation on Rhododendron racemosum, is reported. The specimen was observed in Yunnan Province, China. In comparision with morphology based on macroscopical and microscopical structure of the validly described taxa on Ericaceae plants, this fungus differs from two similar species in the numbers of sterigmata and the mode of germination of basidiospores.
