ABSTRACT: Tricholoma borgsjoeënse, a species new to science, is described and illustrated. Its systematic position was investigated by use of ITS and LSU nuclear rDNA sequence data. The phylogenetic analysis indicates that the new species belongs in section Terrea and is closely related to the American species Tricholoma atroviolaceum.
