Iturriaga, Teresa & Donald H. Pfister. A monograph of the genus Cookeina (Ascomycota, Pezizales, Sarcoscyphaceae). Mycotaxon 95: 137 - 180. 2005. ABSTRACT: Eight species of the wood inhabiting pantropical genus Cookeina are described and illustrated. A new species, C. colensoiopsis, is described from Venezuela, C. speciosa is recognized as a species complex, and a lectotype is designated for C. sinensis.
