Deng, H. & Y.-J. Yao. Revision of three species of Tricholoma reported from China. Mycotaxon 92: 77-84. 2005. ABSTRACT: Three species of Tricholoma reported from China are revised. The occurrence of T. sulphureum in China is confirmed. Specimens of T. sulphureum from China were studied and described in detail, and comparisons with European collections are presented. The occurrence of both T. caligatum and T. magnivelare in China is not confirmed. The description of the former from China is not supported by voucher specimens and does not match representative specimens of T. caligatum from Europe; the latter, initially named T. ponderosum, is supported by a voucher specimen, but this is here re-identified as a species of Amanita. KEYWORDS: Chinese records, distribution, Tricholomataceae |
