ABSTRACT: Three new species of Hemithecium, namely H. balaghattensis, H. fulvescens, H. staigerae, and three new species of Platythecium, namely P. commiscens, P. occultum and P. verrucoareolatum in the family Graphidaceae have been recorded from India. A new combination, Hemithecium nagalandicum, is proposed.
