ABSTRACT: The new genus Kochmania is described to accommodate the smut fungus Ustilago oxalidis, and the new combination Kochmania oxalidis is proposed. Schizonella intercedens is newly recorded from Poland, while Anthracoidea karii and A. sempervirentis are reported for the first time from Ukraine. A key to Anthracoidea species parasitizing representatives of Carex sect. Aulocystis is provided.
