Sureshkumar, G., K. Sharath Babu, I.K. Kunwar & C. Manoharachary. Two new hyphomycetous fungal species from India. Mycotaxon 92: 279-283. 2005. ABSTRACT: Two new foliicolous dematiaceous hyphomycetes, Phialosporostilbe catenata and Piricaudiopsis indica, are described from the forests of Western Ghats in southern India. Ph. catenata produces catenate, cuneiform conidia with two apical setulae. The conidia in Pi. indica are fan-shaped, dictyoseptate and usually with two appendages.
