Gjaerum, Halvor B., Mary Namaganda & Kare Arnstein Lye. New rust fungi (Uredinales) from Mt. Elgon, Uganda. Mycotaxon 92: 251-254. 2005. ABSTRACT: Two rust species, Aecidium mellerae on Mellera lobata and A. senecionis jacksonii on Senecio jacksonii, are described as new to science. One rust species is reported as new to Uganda, viz. Puccinia isolepidis on Isolepis fluitans, previously known from Ethiopia only. With the new records the rust flora of Mt. Elgon consists of 98 species in 13 genera.
