ABSTRACT: Achlya achlyoides, A. androgyna, A. irregularis, A. primoachlya, A. pseudoachlyoides, Protoachlya benekei, P. hypogyna, P. mucronata, and Saprolegnia itoana are proposed as new combinations in the Saprolegniaceae. Achlya ornata is the new name for Aplanopsis spinosa, since Achyla spinosa is a preoccupied name.
