ABSTRACT: The new genus Phragmosporangium and its sole species P. uniseriatum, Leptolegnia hemihypogyna, Pythiopsis irregularis, P. papilliformis, and Saprolegnia truncata are described. Chief characteristics defining these new taxa and distinguishing them from others are recorded.
