ABSTRACT: The genus Pertusaria is widespread in Spain and Portugal, where, to date, it includes 44 species. We have found 21 species of the subgenus Pertusaria in the Spanish and Portuguese florae. We propose two new species: P. luteola sp. nov. and P. werneriana sp. nov. One taxon is reduced to synonymy (P. maximiliana to P. heterochroa) and P. dispar, P. plombii and P. praelutescens are new records for Spain.
