Lizárraga, M., G. Moreno, H. Singer & C. Illana. Myxomycetes from Chihuahua, Mexico. Mycotaxon 88: 409 - 424. 2003. ABSTRACT: A first check list of Myxomycetes from the state of Chihuahua is presented, including 182 collections representing 61 different taxa. Four of them, Cribraria confusa, Cribraria minutissima, Echinostelium corynophorum and Trichia persimilis are first records for Mexico and are decribed in detail. SEM and OM micrographs of spore ornamentation and sporocarps are given for the species new to Mexico and for difficult taxa. KEYWORDS: chorology, Myxomycota, SEM, taxonomy |
