ABSTRACT: A new discomycete from decayed culms of the silvergrass Miscanthus floridulus at the volcano area of Yangmingshan National Park, Taiwan is described and illustrated. This new hyaloscyphaceous discomycete, Albotricha hainesii, is characterized by whitish apothecia and very small cylindrical to ovoid, usually distinctly biguttulate ascospores.
