Archer, Alan W. New species in the genus Sclerophyton (Ascomycota, Opeographaceae) from Australia and the Solomon Islands. Mycotaxon 87: 85 - 89. 2003. ABSTRACT: Sclerophyton conspicuum, from Australia, and S. hillii, S. insularum and S. maculatum, from the Solomon Islands, are described as new to science. Stictic acid, present in S. hillii and S. maculatum, represents the first report of this acid in the genus Sclerophyton.
