ABSTRACT: Phyllactinia pistaciae sp. nov. (= P. suffulta f. pistaciae) on Pistacia vera, described in this paper, is unique among taxa of the genus in having multi-celled feet on its penicillate cells found on the ascomata. Furthermore, the foot-cells of the conidiophores are spirally twisted or wavy, a feature that has been known only in P. dalbergiae. Detailed descriptions and illustrations of both the anamorph and the teleomorph of this species are provided.
