Arenal, F., M. Villarreal & F. Esteve-Raventós. Psathyrella albofloccosa, a new species of section Cystopsathyra. Mycotaxon 87: 173 - 177. 2003. ABSTRACT: Psathyrella albofloccosa is described as a new taxon. The abundant material collected was found growing in manured turf, fruiting in large groups. The species is characterized by whitish to pale buff colours of the basidiomata, presence of white conic spines forming the universal veil, capitate cheilocystidia and narrowly elliptical basidiospores.
