Suhara, Hiroto , Nitaro Maekawa, Shuhei Kaneko, Tsutomu Hattori, Kokki Sakai & Ryuichiro Kondo. A new species, Ceriporia lacerata, isolated from white-rotted wood. Mycotaxon 86: 335 - 347. 2003. ABSTRACT: Ceriporia lacerata (Aphyllophorales, Basidiomycota) is described from a ripe basidiocarp successfully delveloped in a culture isolated from a white-rotted tree on Kyushu Island, Japan. Cultural characteristics, microscopical data and DNA sequencing are given as support for the generic position. A key to the Japanese species of Ceriporia is provided.
