Chen, Jian-Bin & Guang-Rong Hu. The lichen family Physciaceae (Ascomycota) in China V. The genus Physconia. Mycotaxon 86: 185 - 194. 2003. ABSTRACT: Nine species of the lichen genus Physconia from China's mainland are recognized. They are Ph. chinensis, Ph. detersa, Ph. distorta, Ph. grumosa, Ph. hokkaidensis, Ph. kurokawae, Ph. leucoleiptes, Ph. lobulifera and Ph. muscigena. Of these, Ph. chinensis is described as a new species, Ph. hokkaidensis, Ph. kurokawae, Ph. leucoleiptes and Ph. lobulifera are new to China. Ph. venusta should be excluded from the Chinese lichen flora. The previous reports of Ph. enteroxantha and Ph. grisea from China are uncertain.
