ABSTRACT: A new species of the genus Zygorhynchus, Z. multiplex, isolated from paddy soil of the Guangxi Province of China, is described. The fungus is characterized by its complicated sporophore construction, as well as by its shape and dimension of columellae. A key to all taxa of the genus, with their related synonyms attached, is provided.
