ABSTRACT: The taxa described in Paul Kummer's Der Führer in die Pilzkunde are fully indexed, and supplied with their authorities (consistently lacking in Kummer's text). All specific and varietal entries are cross-referenced to previous, major European mycological publications with which, presumably, Kummer would have been acquainted. A separate, annotated, nomenclatural listing supplies citations, basionyms, and earlier nomenclatural synonyms of the 593 new names published in Kummer's book; these include 2 gen. nov., 6 sp. nov., 1 var. nov., and 18 nom. nov., as well as 566 new combinations of earlier names (including 21 Friesian Agaricus infrageneric taxa raised to generic rank).
