ABSTRACT: The genus Pluteus section Pluteus is represented in Kerala by four species. Among these P. martinicensis and P. amphicystis are rare and remarkable, the former known only from the type locality while the latter besides from the type was also reported from Martinique. These taxa are described, illustrated and discussed in conjunction with P. subcervinus whereas only collection data is provided for P. cervina.
