ABSTRACT: The dominant pathogen causing stem rot or bark canker of black locust trees (Robinia pseudoacacia) in Jiangsu Province of China, previously identified as Phytophthora cinnamomi, P. cinnamomi atypical forms, P. richardiae and P. robinicola is now renamed P. cinnanomi var. robiniae var. nov.
