Three such species occurring in Florida are recognized here: Lepiota cristata, Lepiota truncatispora, and Lepiota pseudoignicolor. This is the first account of the micromorphology of L. truncatispora, based upon study of the type. L. pseudoignicolor is reported from Florida for the first time.
