ABSTRACT: Septobasidium wilsonianum associated with scale insects (Diaspididae, Coccoidea, Homoptera) attached to Topobea multiflora, Melastomataceae, is described and illustrated as a new species. It is the first report of a species of Septobasidium occurring on a member of the Melastomataceae.
