ABSTRACT: Two new lichen species are described from China: Myelochroa salazinica S. L. Wang, J. B. Chen & Elix and M. sinica S. L. Wang, J. B. Chen & Elix. Myelochroa salazinica is the first species of this genus known to contain salazinic acid as the major medullary constituent. KEYWORDS: new species, Myelochroa salazinica, Myelochroa sinioca, China
