ABSTRACT: The material of Amanitae collected in China in the first third of this Century and deposited in BPI and CUP, USA was reexamined. All collections were identified by the late Prof. S. C. Teng. At least some of them were cited as vouchers in his papers, and books. Restudy revealed that many collections were misidentified; and hence, the names of some taxa probably have to be deleted from current catalogues of Chinese Amanitae.
