Yuan, Hai-Sheng & Yu-Cheng Dai. Hydnaceous fungi of China 4. Mycoleptodonoides tropicalis sp. nov., and a key to the species in China. Mycotaxon 110: 233–238. 2009. ABSTRACT: Mycoleptodonoides tropicalis is illustrated and described as a new species from tropical forest in Yunnan Province, southwestern China. It is morphologically characterized by fan-shaped basidiocarps, hydnoid hymenophore, fusiform cystidia, and smooth, subglobose to globose, non-amyloid basidiospores.
