ABSTRACT: A new species, Dictyostelium culliculosum, was isolated from forest soil in China. Dictyostelium culliculosum is recognized by its special characteristics of cell aggregations and sorophores and bases of sorophores. Detailed descriptions and photographs of important life cycle stages are given based on the holotype.
