ABSTRACT: Llimoniella muralicola is described as new from the areoles of Protoparmeliopsis muralis in western Turkey. It differs from the other members of the genus in the shorter and relatively narrow ascospores. The new species is the first Llimoniella species reported on Protoparmeliopsis muralis.
