ABSTRACT:   Chlorociboria is an ascomycete genus easy to identify in field due its peculiar characteristics: the mycelium of some species produces a blue-green staining on decaying wood. However, no collections of the genus had previously been deposited in Herbarium FLOR (State of Santa Catarina). Since 2006, three Chlorociboria specimens from the State of Santa Catarina and one specimen from the State of Rio Grande do Sul were identified and deposited in FLOR. C. aeruginosa and C. aeruginascens are the first reports from Santa Catarina, while C. aeruginascens represents the first record from Rio Grande do Sul.
