Mycotaxon 104: 385–390. 2008. ABSTRACT: A new black mildew disease was observed on the orchid species Epidendrum secundum in the “campos rupestres” of Carrancas, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Lembosia epidendri sp. nov., the causal agent of the new disease is described, illustrated and compared with three allied Lembosia species on the family Orchidaceae.
