ABSTRACT:   The revision of the 238 exsicates of Platter Herbarium’s polypores, another collection of Giacomo Bresadola also kept at the herbarium of the Natural History Museum of Trento (TR) was done. The supposedly lost holotype of Ganoderma aurantiacum was found and the new combination Amauroderma aurantiacum is proposed.
