Brachysporiellina fecundasp. nov. and some new records for Neotropica. Mycotaxon 104: 309–312. 2008. ABSTRACT: Brachysporiellina fecunda is described and illustrated based on specimens collected on decaying leaves in the State of Bahia and Pernambuco. It is distinguished by the other species of Brachysporiellina in producing polyblastic conidiogenous cells with 4-15 conspicuous denticles and 4-septate conidia with conico−truncate bases.
