ABSTRACT:  Three new species of dematiaceous hyphomycetes: Bipolaris fusca, Scolecobasidium laeve and Torula brunnea, isolated from soil in China, are described and illustrated. The type specimens (dried cultures) and living cultures are deposited in the Herbarium of Shandong Agricultural University: Plant Pathology (HSAUP).
