Miettinen, Otto & Urmas Kõljalg. Amaurodon sumatranus (Thelephorales, Basidiomycota), a new species from Indonesia. Mycotaxon 100: 51–59. 2007. ABSTRACT: Amaurodon sumatranus, a resupinate thelephoroid species of Basidiomycota, is described from Sumatra, Indonesia. It is related to A. viridis and characterised by its turquoise to green, hydnoid hymenophore and broadly ellipsoid, verrucose spores. Both known collections derive from endangered peat swamp forests of the province of Riau. KEYWORDS: taxonomy, rainforest, Southeast Asia |
