ADVICE to returning visitors: your computer usually stores a copy of your last visit, and will display that page. Always refresh each page you visit to see our recent changes!

Volume 108 (Apr-Jun 2009) was mailed on June 16, 2009.

Cost-free access to articles in back volumes is now up to date and on schedule. All volumes from 1 through 95 can now be accessed online, as are the 3 cumulative indices for vols. 1-20, 21-40, and 41-60. Go to the CYBERLIBER website and click on 'Journals' and then select 'Mycotaxon.' Additional volumes will be added once they are more than 2 years old. Newer volumes are available by ordering print copies.

We feature a secure site for ordering and paying online. Sending credit card numbers by email can be very dangerous, but now you can pay by credit cards securely online. Order and pay for subscriptions, back volumes, indices, and our books, or pay an invoice you have received from us.

All authors should proceed to the Instructions to Authors (above) for downloads of an Author Kit. New authors should consult our revised FAQ pages for information on what articles are suitable. MAKE CERTAIN when submitting final MS to Editor to INCLUDE MS # in the subject line of your email!

OTHER NEWS

Dick Korf's non-mycological audio book narration on a dozen CDs, John Brown's Body, the 1929 Pulitzer-prize-winning book-length poem by Stephen Vincent Benét, was published by Mycotaxon, Ltd. in an edition of 100 copies. A few copies are still available - just donate to a charity of your choice. Check our link above to Publications.

The cumulative author index for volumes 61-100 is now posted, as well as 101-ff (in process: 101-108 posted). Also the four ten-volume cumulative taxon indices for volumes 61-100 are posted, as are the individual taxon index for volumes 101, 102, & 105.

Monographs: our recent policy. To encourage publication of longer monographic papers, we now allow up to 100 pages without page charges, and excess page charges beyond 100 pages may be partially or fully waived by the Editor-in-Chief in cases of financial hardship.

Authors take note: In an effort to increase the use of good illustrations, we have doubled the halftone allowances for papers effective with volume 101, i.e., 2 halftones per 10 pages will be free of charge. Excess halftones will run $20 per halftone, instead of $40. (This means that a 12-page paper may have 8 pages of text and four of free halftones.) Also, beginning with Volume 101, one line drawing will be selected from among manuscripts submitted for use on the front cover. (There still is no charge for line drawings.) Color plate fees are $475 per plate.

Do remember to view our featured checklists online.
